CONSTRUCTION BBSc 341 2001 Welcome
to the Presentation of the majority of the terms work in BBSc 341 construction. The
work has been organised in the sequence as to what it was done in. It contains
the following: - AUTOCad model of an open
fireplace
- An apartment drawn in Archicad
and designed for a professor to live in the school of Architectures atrium space
- Details
showing the construction of specific areas of this apartment
- A
sunstudy demonstrating the effect the apartmant had on the atrium and the studio
- Weathertightness
details of a window head/jamb and sill/jamb
- A
video showing how flat timber roof framing is constructed, this video links in
with videos done by Jeff McCardy and Andrew Wilks that show the plywood being
attached to the framing and the fibreglass waterproof membrane being applied.
