CAD MODELLING EXERCISE

· The course commenced with a 3 week skills exercise designed to provide an overview of the whole process of modelling and rendering a building. It provides an opportunity to compare and contrast the AutoCAD, Revit and ArchiCAD CAD programs' abilities, and a chance to experiment with the rendering engines Rayfront and Viz4.

· The buildings modelled were: the Villa Savoye by Le Corbusier, the Casa Pregassona by Mario Botta, and the Vontz Centre by Frank O. Gehry.
