This course explores the Craft of the Digital in Architecture and Building. It uses the internet to document and assist the collaboration of two people collaborating in the construction of a 3D model of a significant recent daylit Art Gallery, here dealt with is Davis Museum by Rafael Moneo. The aim is to explore computer illumination within a given builiding in the development of a design understanding of the interplay of light and shade under daylight as well as electric light.

Introduction to computers via an exercise to learn modelling and rendering, then designing the art museum in autocad and exploring the lighting via renders. Further documenting the chosen museum via links and findings and learning to collaborate with a partner.
