BBSC303 - Computer Applications

This course explores the Craft of the Digital in Architecture and Building. We have used the internet to document and assist the collaboration of Charlotte and myselfI in the construction of a 3D model of a significant daylit Art Gallery (Extension to the Denver Art Museum by Daniel Libeskind). We are exploring the role of global illumination (photon mapping) in the development of a design understanding of the interplay of light and shade under daylight as well as electric light.
